These were photos that we took experimenting with shutter speeds and light. To create this affect we had the shutter speed set to 5 seconds, this allowed the light to be captured from the torch and to almost have it held in time.
The photos were taken in a dark room otherwise there would of been too much exposure from the rest of the light in the room, you can see in the second photo that a bit of light started to creep in and made the picture a lot lighter.
